Human, trapped in the flow of time, experiences only one moment at once. However, the synthesis of moments creates a time continuum, which the installation tries to convey. Human's natural desire to defy time and leave traces becomes the theme of the interactive light installation, which is shaped by the viewer's own movement.
The installation was created specifically for the occasion of the Nastevřeno festival in the Moving Station building in Pilsen. The light object consists of 12 light tubes anchored in an aluminium hoop. The main means of interaction is the movement of the viewer, thanks to which the LED lights in the tubes are addressed. Thus, by walking, the person leaves a light trail that gradually disappears.
*Člověk, uvězněný v toku času, prožívá vždy jen jediný okamžik. Jejich sloučení však tvoří časové kontinuum, které se instalace snaží zprostředkovat. Přirozená snaha člověka vzdorovat času a zanechávat stopy se stává tématem interaktivní světelné instalace, kterou svým pohybem dotváří sám divák. *
*Instalace byla vytvořena specificky pro příležitost festivalu Nastevřeno v budově Moving Station v Plzni. Světelný objekt se skládá z 12 světelných trubic, které jsou ukotveny v hliníkové obruči. Hlavním prostředkem interakce je pohyb diváka, díky kterému jsou LED světla v trubicích adresovány. Člověk tak svou chůzí zanechává světelnou stopu, která postupně mizí.*
